Engagement Session to Wedding to Maternity
Pretty sure you all remember Lily + Justin's 4/20 wedding that was featured on Carats + Cake, right?!
Well guess what?! Now they're expecting a baby girl!
One of the greatest joys is watching my couples grow over the time that we've known each other. Some go on and explore the world, some dive into hobbies or their career, some choose to grow their families, and some choose it all! That's just what Lily + Justin are doing.
We went out into the forest of Pacific Grove to capture their woodsy Maternity Session. Since we did their Engagement Session along the Big Sur Coast and their Wedding was at Monterey Marriott, we figured the forest would be the perfect location to round out their photo gallery memories.
And it just gets cooler...
You know those super dramatic flowy dresses that make every pregnant mama look like even more of a goddess? Well, did you also know you can rent them?! YES! I'm serious! And that's just what we did! We rented this gorgeous dress from Revive Yo Soul just for the photoshoot! This makes it so much easier because instead of committing to purchasing a dress you're only going to (probably) wear once, you get to have the experience of looking and feeling fabulous without the hit to your bank account and space taken up in your closet! (Also, it's much more sustainable than buying clothes to wear only once or twice and then get rid of it)
