Olivia + William's Destination Wedding - The Gardens at Sutter Creek, Sutter Creek, California

Sunshine, Mountain Air, Good Vibes

Olivia and William are Monterey locals but wanted something different for their wedding day, so they decided on The Gardens at Sutter Creek in Sutter Creek, California for their beautiful wedding day! With three layers to this venue (upper being the ceremony site, middle for cocktail hour, and then bottom for reception and dancing) the flow of The Gardens at Sutter Creek was perfect. Oh, and did I mention that they have both a Bridal and Groom's Suite on property for them to get ready in?! Perfection!

The love and family-aspect of this day was incredible. With two maids of honor and two best men plus many more wedding party members, the couple was absolutely showered in love. With some of the sweetest speeches I've ever heard, so many tears shed by everyone, and countless laugh shared on the dance floor, this summer mountain wedding was absolutely one for the books!

While there were Suites on property, William decided to get ready with his Groom's Party at an Airbnb about 30 minutes away from the venue and oh my gosh their Airbnb was so cool! It had a pool, hot tub, rock climbing wall, and even a small amphitheater?? How cool is that! Obviously we worked some of these into their Groomsmen Group Photos while also trying to be mindful that it was mid-day, roughly 90º and they were wearing full suits. We found shade where we could to make sure the guys didn't melt and then worked quickly when we were in direct sunlight, with the main goal of getting them back inside with AC before they had to head to the venue.

Olivia and her Bridal Party utilized the Suite on property, complete with multiple mirrors and a bumping AC. We did some detail shots, dress shots, getting ready, and a few group photos before getting individuals of her with each of her Bridal Party members.

Before we headed to the Ceremony, William did a first look with his Sister and Olivia did a first look with her Dad. Both of these interactions were so sweet! Filled with nervous laughter, surprise, and many happy tears.

(For anyone who doesn't know, a "First Look" is seeing someone for the first time. So whether that's between siblings, a parent and child, or the couple, this happens privately with just those people and always before the Ceremony)

Then we kicked off the festivities! A sweet and short ceremony with beautiful floral arrangements and a waterfall as their backdrop, cocktail hour with a gorgeous charcuterie board, then reception with Grand Entrances, Toasts, Dancing, and, of course, a Bouquet Toss!
