It All Started In A Supply House...

Yeah, you read that correctly. My dad, Ron, ran into Jessie's cousin and dad, Pete, at one of the supply houses here since they're contractors. My dad went to jokingly give her cousin a hard time about holding up the line, and they ended up catching up on life. Pete told Ron that his daughter was engaged and they were in the middle of planning her wedding.

Ron, being the absolute G he is, said, "Do you need a photographer?"

Pete: "Actually, we don't have a photographer yet."

Ron: "Oh wow! Well, my daughter is a photographer. I can give you her information."

Pete: "Well... is it what she does full time or is it a side thing?"

Ron: "It's what she does. She specializes in weddings."

Pete: "Oh great! Yeah, I'd love her information."

Ron: "Here's her website. She makes sure everyone inquires through there."

Ron was so excited to tell me that he referred me and I was super grateful! Later that week, Jessie's inquiry came in and we setup a time to Zoom and it was a match! It's not everyday that your dad run's into someone at a supply house and gets you a wedding booking 😂

Rain or Shine, This Wedding Was Happening

The big day came, early November, and rain was in the forecast. Jessie and Will were cool as cucumbers and weren't worried one bit. They were ready to embrace whatever weather was in store from them during their wedding weekend and celebrate their love, nothing could stop them. I attended the Rehearsal (as I like to do and am available for upon request) and I can't even explain how laid back Jessie + Will were. But not only them, but their huge wedding party was also super chill! They happily held umbrellas to keep themselves dry and followed the instructions of the planner so they knew what to do. I knew Jessie + Will were great and chill, and seeing how every one of their friends and family just went with the flow and didn't make a fuss about the weather...it confirmed the vibes for the weekend would be great.

Wedding day comes and the weather is...indecisive. Sprinkles here, sunshine there. Complete cloud coverage, sunbeams breaking through. Throughout all of it, both families just kept saying, "It'll be clear for the ceremony. It'll be clear for the ceremony." So my team and I said, "It'll be clear for the ceremony" meanwhile having Plans B, C, D, and E ready for photos in case it wasn't.

When I saw that the weather was the least of their worries, I mean it. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was so excited to celebrate Jessie + Will. Everyone was ready and where they needed to be when they needed to be. Photos were taken, the day flowed, drinks were consumed, apps were enjoyed, dinner was savored, and that dance floor was absolutely danced on. We even got a surprise concert from our incredible Mother of the Bride!
