A Proposal With A View
Alex was planning a vacation down to Big Sur with the love of his life to celebrate their anniversary, but this wasn't a regular trip he was planning... Alex was planning to propose! He wanted everything to be perfect for Allie. They had shared 8 wonderful years together and knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
The goal (as always) was for her to be completely surprised. We're talking happy tears. We need to see happy tears! And man did we get it!!

When choosing the exact location, Alex knew Allie so well that he knew how'd she'd think and feel about each location I presented him with and he carefully chose the spot that would be the least obvious, and his proposal was a great success! Allie was completely surprised, she SAID YES!, and both had tears of joy and excitement about this new big step they were taking in their relationship.
After letting those feels set in for a minute, we proceeded on with their session. Because you can't just take pictures of the actual proposal, you have to do a Mini Engagement Session to celebrate with them!!
We spent some time up on the cliffs so we could capture the magnificent views and then made our way down to the beach where we ran around laughing, popped a bottle of champagne, and splashed our feet in the water. The perfect way to end their session as we watched a gorgeous sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
