From their proposal along the Big Sur coast to exchanging vows amongst the vines in beautiful Sonoma County

Martin and I first met when he was planning to propose to Najella. Living in the Bay Area, he couldn't wait to whisk her away down the coast for a little getaway out of the city. They hiked out to a gorgeous overlook, Martin got down on one knee, and Najella said yes! It was a emotion-filled moment followed by lots more celebration playing in the sand, walking across rocks, and dancing in the golden sunlight as the sun set behind the horizon.


A year later, I got excited when another inquiry from them came in saying, "We are planning a wedding in 4 months.. we wanted someone we can TRUST!"

And their wedding day felt just as intentional


Najella and Martin had always loved Viansa and it was their dream venue. When they reached out only 4 months out and their date was available, it seemed like fate so they booked it!


They hand-picked each of their vendors, including the incredible Luz and her team at Beyond I Do's so they could enjoy the rest of their engagement and wedding day.


Their florals were the perfect balance between elegant and whimsical, her dress had a detachable skirt for multiple looks, and their ceremony site had the most gorgeous mountain views. The reception overlooked the valley and even more mountains as the sun set.


The key thing about their day is that no matter what, they got to enjoy things the way they wanted to. They spent time with their guests at cocktail hour, laughed and hugged throughout their reception, cried together at speeches, all while capturing the moments that were most important to them.


Their day was completely and wholly them. Full of intention, big feelings, and a whole lot of joy. The kind of wedding where you could feel the love in every hug, every laugh, every moment on the dance floor. It was meaningful, it was fun, and it was exactly what it was meant to be. One hell of a party and certainly one I’ll never forget!
