Bixby Bridge to Big Sur Redwoods
Big Sur is such a magical place. You can drive 30-60 minutes and see gorgeous Coastline, Redwoods, Waterfalls, Desert Vibes, almost anything. It's incredible! So it makes it such a diverse backdrop for your Engagement Session.
Jessica + Alex met us in town where we still had cell reception then they hopped in my car and off we went! Carpooling / Caravaning is essential in Big Sur because of the lack of cell reception. A lot of people don't realize how remote Big Sur is and that you need to have a proper meetup plan setup otherwise you won't be able to contact each other!!
Anyways, off we went. I looked back at them and said, "I know we chose a location already, but are you down for a few stops along the way?" They enthusiastically said "YES!" So off we went on our adventure.
It was set to rain that day but we decided to go through with our session, packing rain appropriate shoes and some umbrellas! And you know what? It ended up only sprinkling for the first 10 minutes of our session and then we had a gorgeous sunset and golden hour!
Big Sur really loves to surprise us. The forecast could be grey skies and rain all day and then the clouds will break to reveal one of the most gorgeous sunsets you've ever seen. You just never know until you're there! It's one of the things I love most about Big Sur. It's always surprising you!!
